Summary for week 5 (effective internet research)
The effective internet research must be rather appropriate due to some search results anyway. I've summarized everything in a right manner, to ensure that search results are more relavant, some ways of researching must be rather concerned about. Like for example, boolean operators includes “AND”, “OR” and “AND NOT”. If you're gonna include “AND” inside your search, the results would narrowed down and the search results would only show the phrases that you searched for. As for using “OR” in your search, this will expand your search, including the words that you’ve googled. This is what I've discovered throughout my research. As well as, I found out that however, most search engines uses “AND” as their default operator. But some search engines also uses “+” and “-” signs. That was really amazing for me to know because I've never thought that search engines can be used in sucha different way. Something which I'll like to share is that linking words with boolean operators and the use of parentheses, research will be alot more easy and effective. This smart way of search is actually kind of easy to understand. As it is just like a way of solving sums. These are all that I've discovered during my whole process of understanding effective internet research and I strongly understand clearly now that, as to compare with the normal way of google-ling, this is soo much faster and relevant whereas the normal way alwasy show alot of search results and irrelevant things!
